Coming to the end of my two weeks in Sri Lanka and if I’m honest I have been feeling deflated about how much I have not enjoyed the food in Sri Lanka. I have really tried to enjoy it but it’s just not been for me. However, tonight I have tried to give it one last shot before I go home and came to this restaurant. And I am so glad I did, the food was spectacular. I asked the waiter for his recommendation and he advised to try the chicken and veg Kotu. It was so fresh and full of flavour. Generous portion size that will have you leaving with a full belly. I’m so happy with the food here and would advise everyone to come and dine here.

We had 2 meals here in Sigiriya and genuinely loved the food! It’s definitely popular among foreigners and for a good reason. They customise your food to your spice levels and mostly it works. We especially loved the hot garlic chicken (perfectly batter fried and served in a sweet and spicy Sri Lankan-Chinese sauce) and also the rice plate with vegetables and chicken. Definitely recommend for food. But I’d say, if you’re a tea drinker, avoid their milk tea, I found it to be way too milky.

Highly recommended. Service was prompt. Taste is awesome. Ordered Garlic Prawn with Garlic rice Chicken Dolphin Kotthu Lion Beer Passion mocktail Total Bill amount 6130 LKR All foods are very tasty. Portion size is more than enough for a single person. Enjoyed the dinner fullest.

Our first afternoon in Sigiriya and we found ourselves having lunch at Little Hut. The place was very busy with a great atmosphere. Being our first time in Sri Lanka we went for the Kottu lunch. Chicken and veg. Delicious. So much so that we are already wondering when we can go back.

Very very good - we had the chicken curry and roti, and the chicken kottu. Absolutely delicious. It was busy enough to have an atmosphere but we were served promptly. Our waiter was very polite and apologised for any inconvenience (of which there was none!). Best meal in Sri Lanka so far.

This review is for 16 Nov 2025. This small simple place, have great Sri Lank dishe's. it is very close to Hotel Sigiriya, it might be a little more expensive comparing with avarage price for same dish, but it worth it, I had checkin carry at dinner and it was the best.

Found this place on Google and the reviews don’t lie. We ordered the fish curry and garlic prawns - both were really tasty. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was great. We’d definitely come again and would recommend it to others!

A small place but mighty food! Within minutes the place was filled up because the food is divine. The staff and their service was also perfect, everything was done with a polite smile. Come, enjoy and go home very satisfied!
